Eco and sustainability One of whiskyâs eco pioneers, Pulteney Distillery collaborated on one of the UKâs first âDistrict Heating Schemesâ at its home in Wick on Scotlandâs far northerly coast. As a result, renewable steam â rather than heavy fuel – now powers much of Old Pulteneyâs production, as well as providing power to homes and public buildings in the town.
